Esher Bishops and Canons put on a Fantastic Walking Rugby Festival on 7th July 2024
Esher Bishops held their annual Walking Rugby Festival on 7th July 2024. Visiting clubs were Amesbury, Beccehamians, Burgess Hill, Fordingbridge, Gosport & Fareham, Guildfordians, Old Reigatians, Richmond and Wimbledon and Esher put forward two teams – The Bishops and The Canons. The day was run in true festival style – all teams playing each other with awards at the end for Best Sportsmanship, Best Player, Best Defence and Best Attack. The event was well received with comments from visiting teams of "Love the Festival Format" and "Best Festival of the Season".
Well done to all clubs involved and thank you to everyone who helped make the day a success!
