A Memorable Evening at the Esher Junior Rugby Club Awards Ceremony

Celebrating the Achievements of Our Future Rugby Stars

The Esher Rugby Club was abuzz with excitement last Friday 16th May as the junior rugby community came together to celebrate an evening filled with camaraderie, achievements, and shared pride at the Esher Junior Rugby Club Awards Evening. Families, coaches, and players gathered in the grandstand in the sunshine to listen and applause those players who received recognition off their hard work on and off the field.

The evening began with a heartfelt and uplifting opening speech by Paul Osment the Esher junior Chair. He thanked all the coaches, team managers, and volunteers. for giving up their time, energy, and commitment. This is what make this club so special. And of course, a huge shout-out to the parents. If it weren’t for them turning up week in, week out, there simply wouldn’t be a junior section.

The night was a testament to the hard work, resilience, and determination shown by our young players throughout the season. From the under U12 to the under U16s, each age group was acknowledged for their contributions to the team and their growth both on and off the pitch. Coaches shared heartfelt anecdotes about their players, highlighting moments of sportsmanship, skill, and team spirit that defined this year's journey.
